Keelan has owned at least 12 cars since he was 16, most of them being in various states of disrepair. First they were Nissian Maxima’s, four in total, and one of which I had to help him push up his steep driveway after he had gutted the engine in it. Then they were Toyota Supras, 7 so far. Some were for parts, some were for projects, most ended up on blocks in his front yard for a stint in true Springfield Oregon fashion. I think that he loses intrest in a car once it does everything it’s supposed to. Megan is his girlfriend of 5 years and though she swears she will never marry him (partly because of the cars I think) she also claims she can never see herself with anyone else. She can be pretty understanding about the cars though, especially because for their 5 year anniversey Keelan bought her a cherry red 240Z that looks absolutely flawless, and doesn’t run. I guess that’s one way of keeping your girlfriend around.

So, no large Graduation Recap, I keep putting it off. I will do it though. So here is another medium format scan (I am very very happy with my new film scanner). I replied to some comments as well, which is something I should do more often.

It’s been almost 2 weeks since I finally Graduated and finished moving out of my appartment. I am squatting at my parents now, and trying to take stock of everything, but I really needed to post on the blog again. So consider this a place-holder post, with a larger one to come.

So I was in Seattle taking pictures of food last Wednesday through Friday. I even made a gallery, if you are so inclined.

I have been thinking alot about passion and what’s in my portfolio. I don’t think I know what I am really passionate about yet, that’s why I keep shooting just about everything. My portfolio reflects that as well. I guess things come hand in hand, when I find what I love shooting, everything in my portfolio will reflect that, which will bring me jobs shooting what I love shooting. At least that’s the way it sounds here:

I guess that’s the biggest thing I am excited about moving to a new place and shaking up my life will force me to do. It will make me find my passions, and and I hope give me ample time to do it in. (At the very least, no more 10 week time frames).
